Development Demonstration

Description

This development demonstration provides an excellent way to show pupils the unequal distribution of wealth. It works best using a cake or other object that can be split into percentages. Pupils are split into parts of the world, and they have to decide what percentage of the worlds wealth they are entitled to. The cake then gets split, using the real values. There are instructions explaining the task, and cards for a class of 25 and class of 30 (It can easily be adapted for larger or smaller classes). This is the teacher instructions.
